You Won't Believe What Women Are Using To Get Big Booties in Miami
A few years ago a back ally "doctor" in Miami was caught injecting women with a cocktail of poisonous, toxic sludge in order to give them larger booties - or what they referred to as the "Kim Kardashian bubble butt". The injections were a mixture of (among other things), cement, super glue and tire sealer. Yes women actually paid to have this injected into their asses in an attempt to replicate the awesome junk that is Kimmy K's arse cheeks of wonder (and despair).
Whether or not Kim achieved the um, enviable? shape of her dumper via injections or implants at an upscale Beverly Hills plastic surgeons clinic is a debate for another time. The troubling fact remains that certain people are willing to go to absolutely absurd and I would argue extremely desperate lengths to mimic a body shape that may be totally unachievable.
The absurdity continues. Having learned the hard way that injecting solvents and toxic chemicals into their bodies is at best a short term win, a new wave of "clinics" are turning to a much older technology to increase the booty - the vacuum pump. Dubbed "vacuum therapy" the procedure involves attaching suction cups to the bum cheeks and literally sucking them into a larger shape. Each treatment - and I use that word hesitantly - costs $60, and is meant to enlarge and shape the gluteus as well as "eliminate toxins".
These images show the procedure in progress.

On a side note, I have an issue with Celebrities or people of significant influence that lie about cosmetic alterations. If you are a role-model - especially to kids and young adults - I think you have a moral responsibility to be honest about this stuff because ultimately people are impressionable, and they will try to mimic you. It would be helpful I think, to at least be open about what is naturally attainable through diet and exercise, and what can only be achieved with the help of a surgeon's scalpel.
We have been 100% up front about this here at BodyRock, and we have also implemented a no-photoshop rule on images that we shoot in our studio (we don't alter body shapes). Let us know what you think in the comments below!
