Dairy-Free Raspberry Almond Smoothie for Beautiful Skin

BodyRock Holistic Nutritionist Laura De Sanctis has stopped our blog to share one of her favourite smoothies for beautiful skin. Here's what she has to say about this delicious, refreshing bevy!

This Raspberry Almond Smoothie is loaded with antioxidants that will help combat skin inflammation, acne, wrinkles, age spots, and dullness.

 

So what's so special about this skin-nourishing smoothie?

It contains AHA. AHA is an umbrella term for a variety of fruit acids including glycolic, citric, lactic, malic, and tartaric acids. One of the BEST and EASIEST ways to get these acids to work is from the inside out, when you eat organic produce.

Dairy-Free Raspberry Almond Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 mins

Calories: around 450

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries 
  • 1 cup almond milk 
  • 2- 3 tbsp organic almond butter
  • 10 organic almonds, finely chopped

Instructions 

  1. In a food processor, combine raspberries, almond milk and almond butter until smooth.
  2. Finely chop the almonds.
  3. Pour into a glass/jar/cup and top with chopped almonds and some extra raspberries (fresh or frozen).
  4. Enjoy!
