To whom it may concern,
I’m writing this letter to let you know that my wife has developed a crush on one of your coaches, and as confused as this has made me, I want you to know that I’m ok with it.
My wife discovered you guys on facebook last year. That’s not quite honest. I discovered you and forwarded the link to my wife, who was looking for a new program after having a terrible customer service experience with one of your competitors.
The link that I sent her was a live facebook workout hosted by Coach Sean. I watched a few minutes of his workout, and was impressed with the HIIT exercises. I also liked how normal Sean seemed (apart from the wild hair). There wasn’t anything fancy about the video - but I saw a real spark of creativity in the exercises, and I knew that Lori (my wife) wouldn’t complain about exercise boredom.
I’m used to my wife working out at home in our living room, but something was different this time. She literally never missed a workout.
I was impressed enough by her dedication and focus to actually start training with her a few days a week, and to be fair, I found the workouts challenging and fun. But then I started to notice a few things.
Lori only seemed to want to do coach Sean’s workouts. I found this a bit odd, considering that you guys have multiple other trainers on your platform. She also was checking in quite frequently on Sean’s live sessions. Hmmm.
As the months went on, my wife’s body has steadily gotten stronger. She’s leaned out, she’s lifting heavier, and although she doesn’t as a rule, weigh herself, I’ve noticed that she has gotten a few new pairs of tighter fitting jeans. She has literally not missed a single workout that I know about. She even started on the intermittent fasting program for women that Sean suggested.
While all of this has been going on, things between us on an intimate level changed as well.
She started instigating sex more. After 10 years of marriage, we started posting numbers that were on par with when we were dating. I’m not an idiot. I knew something was up.
Finally, after she requested a new heavier set of dumbbells from your store, I decided to confront her with my suspicions. After she streamed one of Sean’s ‘Quick HIIT’ 12 minute workouts on the weekend I asked to speak with her. I was nervous as hell.
I’m not really the type of guy that likes to beat around the bush, so I just asked her directly: ‘Do you have a crush on Coach Sean?’
She looked at me, and just burst out laughing.
‘Why, are you jealous?’ She asked, toweling sweat off of her brow. The look in her eyes was somewhere between mischievous, and genuinely amused.
‘No’ I said and couldn’t help but break into a ear to ear smile of my own. I felt like a school boy with my own crush, and although I’m loath to admit it, I may have been blushing through my five o’clock shadow. ‘Whatever is going on with you, I like it I said, and you look absolutely gorgeous - the whole thing - your body, your attitude…’ I trailed off at that point.
She looked at me. ‘Maybe I do, but it’s just on his workouts baby’. I’m not one to kiss and tell, but we ended up doing our own ‘workout’ on the couch, and continued on the floor on her pink exercise mat.
I wanted to write you guys and let you know that your workout programs, and in particular, Coach Sean, have made my wife fall in love with her fitness in a way that I’ve never seen before. I don’t know what your secret sauce is, but I’m all for it.
Seeing my wife look and feel her best is the best feeling this husband can have.
Also, I’ve decided that I have a crush on Coach Jessie. Let’s see how my fitness takes off now lol.
