Things are changing at BodyRock.Tv
Hi BodyRockers,
It’s been a really long time since we’ve given our community an update about the direction of our platform and our brand.
BodyRock was one of the first, if not the first home workout channels on YouTube. Since our channel's inception in 2008, we’ve been doing our best to provide workouts, equipment, and most of all encouragement to our community of BodyRockers.
A lot has changed in the last 13 years. Fitness has exploded online, with hundreds of thousands of fitness enthusiasts turned influencers spreading their individual expressions of wellness across the globe.
Our focus over the last 5 years has been developing the best quality home fitness gear on the market, and making those tools accessible to people of all fitness and income levels.
We are a small family business, and taking on the challenge of designing, patenting, and manufacturing fitness equipment was a big, audacious goal that felt right for where we were as a company in 2015.
That said, for me, the passion has always come from the content itself - showing up for our community with the best possible daily workouts, presented by hosts that feel like friends, not influencers. Having our workouts led by women and men (hi Sean!) that are relatable and authentic, because they have lived similar life experiences - be that rebuilding their bodies after kids, or knowing what it feels like to lose motivation and need a helping hand back up - is something that we’ve always believed in.
Creating content that inspires conversations and dialogue about complex issues like body image, beauty standards, and how fitness and health issues make us feel is also important. The fitness world has been co-opted by large corporations, and too much of the narrative is being decided by social media publicists to drive profits. There is a lack of truthful conversation, and too many important questions are not being asked, or answered. We plan on changing that. There are so many important issues that relate to health and wellness that need to be addressed and amplified, and we want to be a place where those conversations can take place.
This week on social, we’ve covered topics like body positivity and acceptance, that have generated thousands of engagements and hundreds of comments:
We are starting important and sometimes difficult conversations that empower women to achieve their goals on their own terms. We won't back down, and we won't stay silent.
The Future
Moving forward into 2022, we will be placing a far greater emphasis on bringing new coaches onboard to teach a wider range of classes. These coaches all have a passion for fitness, and come from a wide range of lifestyles and backgrounds. What they all have in common is a willingness to show up for you from the heart. We look forward to introducing you to them in the upcoming weeks and months.
We will be introducing live classes, and also producing more workouts that are achievable at the beginner level. Being inclusive of beginners is something that I feel passionate about, because helping people take their first steps towards fitness is something that as a company we can feel extremely proud of. It’s using our platform and voice to make the world a better place, one person at a time.
For those of you at the intermediate to advanced level, have no fear, we will continue to rock your workouts at the level you've come to love and expect.
Gear & Equipment
As we move to more of a content focus, we will continue to offer some physical products for sale, but that will no longer be our primary focus or mission. This holiday season, starting with our Halloween sale (30% off store wide) we will be selling out of many of our products for the last time. We intend to keep some of the core items, but many others will not be restocked. This is a great opportunity for you guys to pick up any of our best selling fitness products at a great price before they sell out for the last time. We expect things to move quite fast, so don’t miss out.
As many of you are aware, the global supply chain has been broken for the last several years, and the most recent events at our nation's ports has made matters significantly worse. This feels like the right time to make this pivot, and to return to our content roots. We feel excited and inspired to make this transition, and we hope that you will join us on this journey by joining us on our streaming platform BodyRockPlus.com. Joining our streaming platform is the best way to help support BodyRock (and get in the best shape of your life).
To express our gratitude for your continued support of our community, we would like to give you a one month trial of BodyRockPlus.com or free. Come and try our Introduction to Strength Training Bootcamp, our Intro to HIIT, or any of the other programs now streaming on BodyRockPlus.com - we might not be as flashy as some of the bigger, corporate fitness companies, but we always show up from the heart for you and bring our best into your living room (or wherever you like to train).
On behalf of our family here at BodyRock, thank you for your continued support.
Best,
Freddy.

I am glad to hear that you will be adding more beginners classes. I had a hard time starting and having to repeat the same classes over and over started to get boring. Thank you for all your work and dedication.
I’m happy to hear that you’ll be focusing more on classes and workouts. BodyRock style is the style to keep the motivation for beginners. We have variety on workouts, coaches and I’m happy to know we’ll have different classes. Sure the equipment is good, but the essence of BodyRock is what has kept me loyal: the family. The personal and familiar way the coaches motivate us. Thanks BodyRock
This is so upsetting. I’ve been waiting for your pink plates to come back in stock. I have the Dumbbell handles and only one set of weights. And my barbell only fits your weights. Will you still be providing those at all?
As others have stated before, the ewuipment was a significant aspect of working out and not just the workouts. I truly desire for the lack of equipment will only be temporarily until the supply chain improves.
I understand the supply chain and I’m hoping you will continue to offer the weight plates. The bar I purchased can only be used with your weight plates. Im also fairly new to your site and feel bummed I didn’t find out about you guys sooner.
The equipment based workouts were half the fun to keep motivated! I have purchased a lot of the equipment and have been impressed with the quality. I really enjoy doing the workouts with the trainers while using the equipment at the same time. I’m disappointed that some of the items I have been waiting to come back in stock will no longer be available.
I was sad to see that you may not be offering equipment as much going forward. WIll you be offering the squat bow, the weighted vests and the bodybar? I am sad I missed out on them earlier. If you are able to let me know, I would appreciate it.
Thank you
